*CLEARANCE* Our Lady of Mount Carmel Scapular Necklace

“Oh, most beautiful flower of Mt Carmel, fruitful vine, splendor of heaven, blessed mother of the son of God, Immaculate Virgin: assist me in my necessity.

O Star of the Sea, help me and show me, here you are my mother. Oh, holy Mary, Mother of God, Queen of Heaven and Earth: I humbly beseech you from the bottom of my heart to succor me in this necessity (state the request).

There are none that can withstand your power. O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee. Holy mother, I place this cause in your hands.

Our Lady of Mount Carmel, ora pro nobis

One of the most notable Catholic scapulars is that of the Carmelites, the Brown Scapular, given to Saint Simon Stock atop Mount Carmel in the 13th century. This prayer, composed by Saint Simon Stock is called "The Flower of Carmel."

This beautiful necklace is a scapular (worn over the shoulders) based off that of the Brown Scapular ordained by Our Lady. It is important to keep in mind that this necklace is not a substitute or replacement for the Brown Scapular for the enrollment in the confraternity and the graces that are promised for those who are enrolled. 

This necklace is a sign of devotion to Our Lady and does not carry with it the promises entrusted to the Brown Scapular. There are instances in which someone who has a serious reason cannot wear the traditional brown wool scapular that they may substitute with a medal option. 

This necklace has both the images of the Sacred Heart and Our Lady of Mount Carmel, as necessitated for the wool alternative. It is also inscribed with verses on the back sides of the medals reading:

“The Lord bless thee, and keep thee.” Numbers 6:24

“For by grace you are saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, for it is the gift of God” Ephesians 2:8

This necklace is made with two 12" 18k gold filled ball chain with a gold filled medal at each end, one to go over your shoulders in the front, and the other in the back.
